Wearable body temperature monitoring, explained

What it does, how accurate it is, and where the same sensor is already running.

How OnCorva turns temperature into a fever curve

Compared with a conventional thermometer, OnCorva does not capture a single reading and stop. The 2g wearable sensor stays under the arm and records body temperature every 5 seconds for up to 7 days, turning fever changes into a continuous curve. Caregivers can see when the fever started, how fast it is rising, whether medication is working, and whether the temperature is truly coming down or only dipping between spikes.

Medical-grade accuracy for multi-day wear

OnCorva is a Class II medical device with clinically validated ±0.2°C accuracy and 0.01°C resolution. Each sensor is calibrated before shipment, then worn under the arm with a hypoallergenic medical patch. The lightweight 2g design is suitable for babies, elderly users and patients who need repeated temperature observation without being disturbed.

One sensor for home, care facilities and hospital wards

The same OnCorva sensor works with a family app, a bedside terminal or Bluetooth gateways connected to a nurse dashboard. Families can watch one feverish child at home; hospitals and care facilities can monitor multiple beds from one screen. For distributors and OEM partners, it means one wearable thermometer platform for retail, clinical and institutional channels.

FAQ

Wearable fever monitoring FAQs

Do you offer OEM, ODM, SKD or private label service?

Yes. We support OEM, ODM, SKD and private label wireless thermometer projects based on the OnCorva sensor platform, including industrial design, firmware, app integration, packaging and manufacturing support. Tell us your target market, expected volume and branding requirements so we can recommend the right cooperation model.

What certifications does OnCorva have?

OnCorva is an NMPA Class II medical device manufactured under an ISO 13485 quality management system. Product availability and regulatory requirements vary by country, so distributors and hospital buyers should contact us for the latest market-specific certification and registration information.

Can OnCorva be used for babies or elderly patients?

Yes. The 2g sensor attaches under the arm with a hypoallergenic medical-grade patch and is designed for multi-day wear. It is suitable for baby fever monitoring, child fever monitoring, elderly care and patients who need repeated temperature observation without being woken for manual checks.

How does OnCorva compare with spot-check thermometers?

Mercury thermometers, infrared forehead thermometers and ear thermometers provide one reading at one moment. OnCorva records body temperature every 5 seconds, shows the fever curve and supports alerts, so caregivers can see trends, overnight spikes and post-medication changes instead of relying on isolated spot checks.
